Poldi Pezzoli Museum -

In the hall of fresco of Poldi Pezzoli Museum, via Manzoni n° 12 will be introduced the catalogue In search of lost sounds edited by John Henry van der Meer.
The publication of the volume represents the conclusion of a coleccionism history that the Museum has promoted offering to the public, in occasion of the cycles of concerts that have been kept to the Poldi Pezzoli, the possibility to admire and to know historical instruments. The catalogue is one small encyclopedia of the musical string instruments, published from Villa Medici Giulini S.r.l. in which there are 60 instruments of the collection of musical instruments of Fernanda Giulini.
The images of the historic instruments and the works of art that decorate them accompany to you from musical brani have been collections from the collector in a DVD that will come projected in the course of the presentation so as to to propose one synthesis of art and music.
