The Garden
The Villa is surrounded by a garden, one of the oldest in Lombardy. It develops the two classic themes of the English landscaped park and the "Italian-style" architectural garden.
Spring blossoms
The different varieties of azalea flower in alternation, from the classic Spring types to the rare "pearl of the lake" that flowers in high summer, a characteristic of old gardens. The colours are always white and pink.
The Italian garden
The "parterres" formed by low box hedges are enclosed between two rigorously symmetrical rows of hornbeams, framed by architectural wings. In the distance, one can see the avenue of cypresses and poplars.
Autumn colours
A walk beneath the hornbeams, when the entire garden takes on shades of red and yellow, is a particularly magical experience.
