The New Generation Festival had a great success with the performance of Orfeo and Euridice by Christoph Willibald Gluck in 1774 version published by Ricordi for a performance in Milan in 1889. The air “Che farò senza Euridice” was accompanied by a historical harp from the collection and a Pleyel piano dated 1882 completed the string quartet of the New Generation Festival.
