Dreaming of the sea

A collection dedicated to the sea with art works from the sixteenth to the twentieth century

Welcome to

Villa Medici Giulini

A unique experience of art and music

Villa Medici Giulini is a fusion of art and music, a real “Lombard delight”, a historic home with an idyllic atmosphere, located in northern Italy, on the hills of Brianza, between Milan and the Como Lake.

Fernanda Giulini and her family have restored the villa and can tell an exceptional story. In this property, she gathers her extraordinary collection of historical instruments.

Masterclassess, held by some of the world’s most famous musicians, are just some of the cultural activities that take place in the mansion.

Visits by cultural groups to the Villa and its gardens are perfectly complemented by private concerts held in the magical Teatrino inside the property.

Villa Medici Giulini, due to its proximity to Milan, Como, Monza and Bergamo, is an ideal location for business lunches, weddings, conferences and international meetings. The Villa has medieval origins and has remained intact over time. The house has had several owners including the Marquis Medici of Marignano.

The heart of the Villa is the Hall painted by Francesco Zuccarelli, the great eighteenth century landscape painter. The collection of instruments, located in the same room with the paintings, finds there an ideal location, in a rare synthesis of art and music.

The garden and the music takes up the dominant theme of “The Villa of the lost sounds”. Music resides everywhere and guides guests in an unreal world.

Rooms and apartments in the side wings of the villa offer an extraordinary experience of hospitality.
