Jun Kanno, graduate of University of Toho in Tokyo, was invited to France by Olivier Messiaen and Yvonne Loriod, wife of the famous composer, who became his teacher at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique de Paris. He won the there in piano and chamber music. Jun Kanno was also unanimously awarded the by the Ecole Normale de Musique de Paris, and was subsequently appointed as Germaine Mounier’s assitant. He completed his studies with Vlado Perlemuter and Gyorgy Sebok. After getting prizes at several international competitions, Jun Kanno has played with the Munich Symphony Orchestra, the Chamber Orchestra of Berlin, the National Orchestra of Cracow, the Chamber Orchestra of Salzburg, the Chamber Orchestra of Prague, the NHK Symphony Orchestra, the Japan Philharmonic, and the Korean National Orchestra. Jun Kanno lives in Paris, where he has given many recitals at the Théâtre des Champs-Elysées and the Salle Gaveau. He is regularly invited to perform in principal musical cities such as London(St. John’s), Rome(Teatro Ghione), Geneva(Studio Ansermet), Salzburg(Schloss Mirabell), Tokyo(Suntory Hall), Brussels, Barcelona, Florence and others. Jun Kanno was a regular guest artist with the Mozarteum Quartet of Salzburg. With Karlheinz Franke, first violin of the Mozarteum Quartet, he played all over Europe under the name of the Mozarteum Duo Salzburg. Jun Kanno performs regularly with the Vienna String Quartet, composed of top players from the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra. Werner Hink, Pierre Amoyal, Vladimir Mendelssohn, Bruno Pasquier, Daniel Grosgurin, Martin Lovett and Frank Stadler have been his partners of chamber music. From 1996 to 2007 Jun Kanno was Professor at the Juan Pedro Carrero Music School in Barcelona, where his pedagogical skills were highly appreciated. Prestigious institutions such as Scuola di Musica di Fiesole, Conservatoire Royal in Belgium, Hartford University and Toho School of Music invite him regularly. Often invited as judge at international competitions (London, Porto, Messiaen-Paris), he frequently holds master classes all over the world. His recordings released in France, Switzerland and Japan, include works from Bach to Messiaen.

Diane Andersen, considered by the international press, as the “Grand Lady”? of the Belgian Piano , Diane Andersen has a shiny career both as soloist (playing under the baton of famous conductors like Maderna, Boulez, Sawallisch, Prêtre, Kamu etc), and a pedagogue. She has been concertising through the world in prestigious venues such as Carnegie Hall – Rudolfinum (Prague) – Liszt Ferenc Zeneakademia (Budapest) – Concertgebouw (Amsterdam) – La Fenice (Venice) – Sint Martin’s in the Field (London) – Palais des Beaux-Arts Brussels – etc Award and prizes: “International Steinway Artist”, “Grand Prix du Disque de l’Académie Charles Cros” (Paris), « “Trophée Fuga” Union des Compositeurs Belges» (Belgium), Harriet Cohen Bach Medal (Londres), “Cannes Classical Music Award” (France). Numerous CD’s, many in world premiere (Tansman, Biarent, Goué, Delvincourt, Paray, de Castera etc), complete piano work by Pierné (EMI) and Jongen (Pavane) receiving enthusiastic reviews and awards (Joker, Crescendo – « La Clé », ResMusica-« La clé », Classica-CD of the month, MusicWeb International-CD of the month, FANFARE USA-Myron Silberstein « Want list » 2018). Latest release: Piano works by Claude Delvincourt and the sonatas for violin and piano and cello and piano by Paul Paray (Azur classical). Her privileged contacts with great musicians like Kodaly, Tansman, Luigi Nono, André Gertler (duo partner and personal friend of Bartok) and the legendary Hungarian pianist Annie Fischer, will be of great importance for her artistic and musical development. Honorary professor of the Royal Conservatoire of Brussels, she is now conducting master classes the world over: Universities of North and South America, Canada, Japan, China, Corea, Taiwan and Europe. Her students are prize winners in important competitions. Currently invited as member of the jury of international piano competitions. Member of the jury and the artistic commission (2010-2016) of the prestigious Queen Elisabeth International Piano Competition Brussels. Founder and President of EPTA-Belgium since 1990.
